Parksite is expandings its offering of frameless glass railing manufacturer IG Railing to its territories of Ohio and Florida.
“We launched IG Railing in our Northeast territories just four months ago and the excitement and acceptance of this innovative solution has been very high,” Bob Higgins, senior vice president of sales at Parksite, said. “We are excited to partner with IG, and to share their railing offering with Parksite customers.”
IG Railing is built on a base mount that houses a Wi-Fi controlled LED light system, and holds ½-inch tempered low iron glass. IG Railing eliminates sight obstructions of traditional post and rail systems during the day. By night, the low iron glass and LED lighting allows illumination to flow throughout the panels. Glass connector accessories, top rail, and spigots are available in matte black or polished finishes.
“The Parksite team has had great energy in our first several months of rollout in the Northeast and further expansion is a testament to the category shift we have been building,” Mike Kunard, co-owner of IG Railing.
Batavia, Ill.-based Parksite is a distributor of specialized products for the commercial, residential and remodel markets. The employee-owned company operates 22 locations across the country.
