Building products distributor PrimeSource Brands added two executive team members to the company: Drew Meng will assume the role of CEO of PrimeSource Building Products and Robert Roche will serve as PrimeSource Brands chief financial officer. Tom Koos, who is turning the PrimeSource Building Products CEO role over to Meng, will continue as CEO of PrimeSource Brands.

“I am excited to welcome Bob and Drew to PrimeSource,” Koos said in a prepared statement. “They are both great additions to the team as we focus on the integration and growth of our business units moving forward.”

PrimeSource said the shifts in leadership were made as a result of recent acquisitions. Following acquisitions of NWI Enterprises, Wolf Home Products, and Axxis, the company created three strategic business units within PrimeSource Brands: PrimeSource Building Products, Dimora Brands, and Wolf Home Products.

Roche previously served as vice president and CEO at Carlisle Companies, a global manufacturing business. With the company, Roche played a role in the Tyco International merger with Johnson Controls. Meng has held several senior roles in sales and marketing at Jacuzzi Group Worldwide, Black & Decker, and Newell Rubbermaid before serving as CEO at American Security.

PrimeSource Brands is a provider of specialty branded residential building products, with a product offering spanning over 60,000 SKUs, including construction fasteners, cabinet knobs and pulls, fence and gate hardware, railing systems and infill, and perimeter security solutions. The company operates 49 distribution centers in 28 states.
