  • ABC Supply has decided to acquire a lease on a 39,646-square-foot warehouse at 4884 Duncanville Road in Dallas. Story
  • An unnamed 62-year-old LBM operation in Dauphin County, Pa., is advertising itself for sale. The firm claims gross revenue of $1.75 million and is selling $308,000 worth of inventory separately. Sale notice
  • Beisser Lumber has opened a new kitchen showroom just south of its yard in Grimes, Iowa.
  • ABC Supply bought Robosson Supply in Sykesville, Md. Story

  • Two unnamed dealers have put themselves up for sale. The first is based in Montana and has annual revenues of roughly $1.2 million, which is also its asking price. The second is in South Dakota, has annual revenues of $1.4 million, and is asking for nearly $700,000.
  • An auction was held March 10 to sell what appear to be all the buildings, inventory, and rolling stock of Johnson’s Lumber & Sentry Hardware in Atlanta, Ill.

  • Brown’s True Value Hardware in Marengo, Iowa, plans to move to a new store twice its current size and add lumber to its offerings. Story
  • An unnamed $6.2 million dealer serving north Mississippi and north Alabama has put itself up for sale. More

  • Kildare Lumber’s branch in Paxton, Neb., has been put up for sale. All of Kildare’s other yards have been sold or closed. Story

  • Interior-Exterior Building Supply, a drywall and steel studs specialty dealer, has closed on a lease for a warehouse in southwest Orlando, Fla.
  • Arrowhead Building Supply is building a new 70,000-square-foot facility in St. Peters, Mo., that will include a 7,000-square-foot showroom, a full-sized display home inside the showroom, and a “drive through window” for quick pickup of smaller items.
  • ABC Supply opened a new branch in Valparaiso, Ind.

  • S.A. Foster Lumber’s branch in Overton, Neb., was purchased by store employee Tim Smith and now operates as Foster Lumber. Story

  • The S.A. Foster Lumber branch in Chappell, Neb., closed in September and then was reopened as Chappell Lumber. Story
  • Chicago Lumber, Omaha, Neb., purchased the S.A. Foster Lumber branch in Kearney, Neb., and renamed it Century Lumber. Meanwhile, Heartland Lumber and Supply bought the Foster Lumber branch in Oshkosh, Neb., and new owners bought the Foster branch in Columbus, Neb., renaming it Great Plains Building Supply. Story
