  • Cameron Ashley Building Products opened a distribution center in North Las Vegas, Nev. Story
  • The Heilman family acquired Falmouth, Ky.-based Barnes Hardware and Lumber and rebranded the business as Heilman Hardware, Lumber and Farm Supply. Story
  • Weyerhaeuser reopened its distribution center in Redding, Calif., after the facility was nearly destroyed by a wildfire. Story
  • ABC Supply opened a new location in Ypsilanti, Mich. Announcement
  • Orgill plans to open a 780,000-square-foot distribution center in Rome, N.Y. The facility will be operational by early 2022. Story

  • L&W Supply opened a new branch in Inglewood, Calif.
  • West Fraser is expanding production cuts in British Columbia due to supply constraints. The Canadian company will permanently close its Chasm lumber mill and eliminate the third shift from its 100 Mile House mill in the third quarter. Story

  • Canada-based Western Forest Products temporarily will curtail production at its Duke Point, Saltair, and Chemainus sawmills in British Columbia so it can align production volumes to match current customer demand. Story

  • SRS Distribution acquired Erie, Pa.-based distributor Presta Contractor Supply. Announcement
  • Ace Hardware plans to expand its Wilmer, Texas, distribution center, more than doubling the size of the existing 450,000 square-foot facility. Story
