  • Oldcastle APG acquired EP Henry, a privately-owned manufacturer of hardscape and masonry products in the mid-Atlantic region.
  • Home Depot launched “Rent Online, Pick-up In Store” technology at its 1,300 rental locations.
  • Doman Building Materials Group, the former CanWel Building Materials, reported that its subsidiary L.A. Lumber Treating acquired the lumber pressure treating plant, related equipment, and business formerly owned by Fontana Wood Preserving and Fontana Wholesale Lumber.
  • Fiberon partnered with Breezesta to offer Fiberon Furniture by Breezesta, an assortment of sustainable outdoor furniture hand-selected to complement Fiberon decking and railing.
  • Envision Building Products completed the integration of Fairway Architectural Railing Solutions into the Envision family. The company also launched Envision Outdoor Living Products.

  • CertainTeed gypsum and insulation products now carry third-party verification of Health Product Declarations and Environmental Product Declarations have been extended to encompass more of both the company’s gypsum and insulation product portfolios.
  • Simpson Strong-Tie renewed its support of Habitat for Humanity International’s Habitat Strong program for the sixth consecutive year.
  • Masonite International Corporation announced plans to invest in a new door manufacturing facility in Fort Mill, S.C.

  • Cornerstone Building Brands donated building products valued at $500,000 to Habitat for Humanity’s nationwide Disaster Risk Reduction and Response program and made a $100,000 financial contribution to the Coweta Community Foundation.
