  • US LBM appointed Wendy Radtke as the company’s vice president and chief human resources officer.
  • VERSATEX hired six new market development specialists: Peter Bondo, Patrick Bouchard, Austin Jordan, Alex Kapres, Zachary Archer, Shane Harrington.
  • Biewer Lumber promoted Mike Burley to the role of sawmill sales manager. Additionally, the company announced Bill Schlottman, director of sawmill sales, will focus on production maximizing efficiencies at Biewer’s seven sawmills in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Mississippi.
  • The American Wood Council promoted Phillip Kine to vice president of codes and regulations following the retirement of Kenneth Bland. The council also hired Dr. Omar Amini as manager of wind and seismic engineering, Dr. Francisco Flores as manager of engineering technology, Paul Armstrong as western regional manager, and Ed Lisinski as midwest regional manager.

  • Stanley Black & Decker named Donald Allan, Jr., the company’s next CEO. Allan, currently the company president and COF, will succeed James Loree in the role.
  • Associated Materials appointed James Drexinger as CEO, effective immediately. Drexinger succeeds Brian Strauss, who has served as the president and CEO of the company since 2014.
