• McCoy’s Building Supply promoted Rob Perrone to the role of director of merchandising – hardlines. Additionally, Lisa Barrett was appointed to the role of director of store planning and visual merchandising.
• US LBM appointed Wendy Radtke as the company’s vice president and chief human resources officer.
• VERSATEX hired six new market development specialists: Peter Bondo, Patrick Bouchard, Austin Jordan, Alex Kapres, Zachary Archer, Shane Harrington.
• Biewer Lumber promoted Mike Burley to the role of sawmill sales manager. Additionally, the company announced Bill Schlottman, director of sawmill sales, will focus on production maximizing efficiencies at Biewer’s seven sawmills in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Mississippi.
• The American Wood Council promoted Phillip Kine to vice president of codes and regulations following the retirement of Kenneth Bland. The council also hired Dr. Omar Amini as manager of wind and seismic engineering, Dr. Francisco Flores as manager of engineering technology, Paul Armstrong as western regional manager, and Ed Lisinski as midwest regional manager.
• Koppers hired Kevin Washington as vice president of external affairs.

June 8

• Stanley Black & Decker named Donald Allan, Jr., the company’s next CEO. Allan, currently the company president and COF, will succeed James Loree in the role.
• Associated Materials appointed James Drexinger as CEO, effective immediately. Drexinger succeeds Brian Strauss, who has served as the president and CEO of the company since 2014.
• The Avon Plastics sales team added Steve Campbell as a territory sales manager for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.

• Rinnai America Corporation appointed Bernard Beyer as vice president of information technology, Sean Boyer as vice president of quality assurance, and Buster Kennett as vice president of finance.
• LP Building Solutions announced the first production of LP SmartSide products at its Houlton, Maine, facility and the first APA-approved SmartSide board.

April 27

• Superior Aluminum Products announced three internal promotions: Renee Gephart has been named officer manager, Ryan Nichols has been named vice president of sales, and Matt Purpus has been named vice president of operations.
• The Home Depot named Matt Carey executive vice president of customer experience, effective immediately. Additionally, Fahim Siddiqui has been named executive vice president and chief information officer.
• Trex appointed James Reddish as the company’s director of Little Rock workforce development and community engagement.
• Jeske Hardware Distributors hired Blake Thompson to join the Jeske sales team as the account manager for the company’s southeast sales territory.
• Tom Le Vere, president of Weekes Forest Products, announced his plans to retire. Scott Gardner will become the new president of the company, effective January 1, 2023. Clark Spitzer is being promoted to the role of Snavely Forest Products. UFP Industries announced president and COO Pat Webster will retire at the end of 2022.

April 20

• Envision Outdoor Living Products implemented leadership changes within the organization, resulting in 10 internal staff promotions.
• Buildxact appointed Mark Hall as the company’s vice president of strategic enterprise accounts.
• The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) presented the chairman’s award to Mireya Zapata, executive vice president of the Lumbermen’s Association of Texas (LAT).

April 13

• J.M. Huber Corp., parent company of Huber Engineered Woods, named Gretchen McClain as the company’s new president and CEO.
• The board of directors of the Hardwood Manufacturers Association elected Tommy Petzoldt of East Perry Lumber Company as president of the organization.
• Epicor appointed Lisa Pope as company president.
• Members of the Southern Cypress Manufacturers Association elected officers for 2022. Cassie Lewis, of Turn Bull Lumber Company in Elizabethtown, N.C., was elected SCMA president and Truss Beasley of Beasley Forest Products in Hazlehurst, Ga., was elected vice president.
• BlueLinx Holdings appointed Joshua Teteak as chief supply chain officer, effective April 18, 2022. Teteak will report to president and CEO Dwight Gibson.
• Lowe’s Companies appointed Brandon Sink as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
• Koppers, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koppers Holdings, hired Stephen Lucas as vice president of culture and engagement, effective April 11.
• Belco Forest Products appointed Kevin Hayes to head the company’s market development efforts for the state of California.

• US LBM named Jannette Valdez, inside sales representative at US LBM’s Wallboard Supply Company, as its 2022 Humanitarian Award recipient.

• Do it Best Corp. hired 10 individuals and internally promoted five team members during April. The organization also promoted Todd Miller to the role of director of merchandising strategy and execution.
