- Kodiak Building Partners announced Nov. 15 that it joined with the owner and management of Arizona Wholesale Supply Co. (AWS) to buy substantially all the operating assets of AWS, a 70-year-old company that claims to be Arizona’s oldest and largest builder distributor of major appliances, flooring products, and builder design center services. - The Andersen Corporation announced the acquisition of Fenêtres MQ Inc., a luxury window and door manufacturer headquartered in Sainte-Agathe, Quebec, Canada with manufacturing locations in Canada and Italy.

- JELD-WEN acquired the Domoferm Group of companies, a European provider of steel doors, steel door frames, and fire doors for commercial and residential markets. Domoferm is based in Gänserndorf, Austria, with employees at four manufacturing sites in Austria, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
- The Atlas Roofing Corporation bought Versa-Tech located in Fredericktown, Mo.
