Simpson Strong-Tie, a manufacturer of engineered structural connectors and building solutions, launched the Pipeline Builder Webinar Series, designed to help builders drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and bring new homes to market faster by improving processes for managing estimates, options, and building material takeoffs. According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2019 Survey of Construction, the average time to build a single-family home has increased 15% since 2014 from seven months to 8.1 months.

The two-part live web series, hosted by Simpson Strong-Tie builder and technology experts Scott Lang and David Carnes, will be tailored to help builders learn how estimating software can help them get houses on the market faster. The web series will showcase the module-based functionality in Pipeline builder software, including its Cloud Dynamic Estimating Module, Costing Module, and Purchasing Module.

“This webinar series was designed for any homebuilder that is looking for ways to improve estimating and manage options and takeoffs in order to increase cycle times,” Lang said in a news release. “We’re excited to showcase the power and simplicity of Pipeline builder software from Simpson Strong-Tie and share some excellent solutions and strategies for bringing homes to market faster.”

Part one of the webinar, airing on October 28, will address tools for making efficiency improvements and data analysis techniques that empower builders and their teams to reduce costs, increase net margins, and scale operations to accelerate cycle times without adding staff. The second part of the series will air on November 10 and will analyze how dynamic estimating material management can drive greater operational efficiencies at reduced costs.

Pipeline builder software is a web-based material management and estimating logic solution from Simpson Strong-Tie that helps builders boost efficiency and cut costs, according to the manufacturer.

Pleasanton, Calif.-based Simpson Strong-Tie offers a line of engineered products and solutions including structural connectors, fasteners, fastening systems, lateral-force-resisting systems, software solutions, and product solutions for repairing, protecting, and strengthening concrete.
