SRS Distribution announced three significant promotions today, as Dan Tinker was named president and CEO. He will also get a spot on the board of directors. Previous CEO Ron Ross was named executive chairman of the board of directors, and John Bradberry will become executive vice president and COO.
In a statement, Ross said “very early in his career, I identified Dan as my ultimate successor.” He continued in saying that Tinker “has been personally responsible for a significant amount of our growth and has relentlessly driven continuous improvement across SRS.
The new CEO commented “I am thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to lead the amazing people here at SRS into the next chapter of our phenomenal growth. We have built a very special company under the personal values and philosophies that Ron has instilled in all of us and I am committed to carry on that legacy and work tirelessly to support and serve all 3,000 of our employees and their families.”
SRS, based in McKinney, Texas, was listed at No. 9 on the 2017 ProSales 100 with $1.9 billion in total sales last year. It recently opened locations in the Norfolk, Charlotte, and Atlanta markets
