Tibbetts Lumber hired Don Viscio as regional vice president for the northern region of Florida. Viscio brings 32 years of industry experience to the role, including 26 years managing the Florida and export business for BlueLinx.
“I am honored to join the Tibbetts Lumber team as the regional vice president,” Viscio said in a news release. “I am extremely thankful for the trust of the leadership and tremendously excited for the opportunities and growth of the company going forward.
Tibbetts is also an active contributor to the Florida Building Material Alliance where he serves as the finance committee chairman and on the convention committee.
“Don is the perfect person to join our leadership team. As a 32-year veteran of the industry with significant experience, Don’s extensive leadership will take our company to the next level,” Russ Hallenbeck, vice chairman and CEO of Tibbetts, said. “We are blessed to have Don join the Tibbetts team.”
Tibbetts Lumber serves regional and custom/semi-custom builders and remodelers from its Florida locations in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Largo, Ocala, Crystal River, Melbourne, and Fort Myers. The company’s primary business lines include roof and floor trusses, lumber and building materials, windows, and interior and exterior doors.
