Zeeland Lumber and Supply today acquired Maverick Building Systems,, a roof and floor truss designer/dealer based in Commerce, Mich. This acquisition by the Zeeland, Mich.-based company expands its reach into eastern Michigan and the Detroit market.
Mike Dykstra, president and CEO of Zeeland, said in a statement, “This acquisition will further our capabilities and our capacity in our Zeeland Truss and Components division, adding design and manufacturing experience in trusses and engineered wood. The solid service and quality platform that Maverick has built its business on, aligns with our values, and will help us extend our brand and market presence in the Eastern Michigan market.”
Zeeland Lumber now operates three full service lumber and building material yards, three truss and component operations, and one sales office/showroom location.
