Boral’s Ply 40 Underlayment

Boral reinforced a polymer-asphalt blend underlayment with fiberglass to develop its alternative to synthetics. Boral Ply 40 can be used under shingle, shake, concrete, or tile roofing with less wrinkling and buckling than asphalt paper. The underlayment accepts nails and acts as a waterproof base for some torch-down systems. It’s available in four Western states. Boral, 909.737.0200; boralna.com.
