Kingspan debuted the Kooltherm K8 Cavity Board and Kooltherm K12 Framing Board, both designed to deliver the highest R-value per inch, according to the company. Smith & Fong Co. announced a new line of palm dimensional lumber. The company says palm can be used for freestanding pieces and casework; can be laminated into blocks or square dowels; and can be sliced into a thin veneer and applied to a plywood base. Thompson’s WaterSeal has released three new opacities (clear, transparent, and semi-transparent), and two new colors (Cedar and Mahogany) for its Penetrating Timber Oil.
