Boral Roofing added a line of hail-rated concrete tiles that the company says can withstand the impact of 2-inch hail stones propelled at up to 104 feet per second. Storm Series’ class-4 rating (certified via the Roof Covering Impact Certification Program) means the tiles may help homeowners in some areas qualify for insurance reductions, Boral says.
